The Delmarva Central Railroad (DCR) is proud to celebrate the opening of Schiff Farms’ new grain terminal in Harrington, Delaware—a major investment that strengthens the agricultural economy and supply chain across the Delmarva Peninsula.
The new terminal represents a significant step forward for regional grain producers by creating new opportunities to reach broader markets through efficient rail transportation. Strategically located along DCR’s mainline, the facility will enable Schiff Farms and its customers to move grain directly by rail to domestic processors and export terminals, bypassing congested highways and reducing truck traffic in local communities.
