Carload Express Receives Norfolk Southern's 2026 Alan Lambert Short Line Award for Overall Short Line Performance

Carload Express, Inc. has been named a recipient of Norfolk Southern Corporation's 2026 Alan Lambert Short Line Award, earning the distinction for overall short line performance. The award recognizes short line railroad partners that demonstrate exceptional performance in driving mutual growth and success across the rail network.

The award was presented at Norfolk Southern's annual short line partner conference, held at the Class I railroad's Atlanta headquarters. The conference convened nearly 200 industry participants and featured remarks from senior Norfolk Southern leadership, including Chief Executive Officer Mark George and Chief Operating Officer Brian Barr, as well as American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association President Chuck Baker.
